Virtual Classes

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic Yogasalai has been offering identical in-person classes virtually through zoom. For registrations, please email admin@yogasalai.org

Regular Classes

Our regular classes run for 90 minutes and the practices includes breathing exercises, sun salutation, 12 basic postures and relaxation.

Kids Classes

Our kids’ classes are fun full way of introducing yogic lifestyles, asana practices, physical exercises and practices to enhance memory and self-confidence. Children love the classes and look forward to attend week after week. Parents are happy as they have seen tremendous improvement in child’s Health, physical strength and School Grades.

Teen Classes

Youth who came regularly in the beginning are now enthusiastic yoga practitioners as they have experienced significant relief from their health issues and received answers for their spiritual and cultural questions. We create opportunities for youth to volunteer in public sector and not for profit organizations for meaningful volunteering to develop leadership skills, taking care of our environment and communities (Karma Yoga).

Gentle Classes

Our gentle classes are oriented for newcomers to yoga. The classes follow a one hour structure that include practices such as breathing exercise, sun salutation, postures and relaxation. This class goes at a reduced pace in comparison to the regular classes with increased attention to form.

Senior Classes

Yogasalai’s seniors classes are focused on promoting health and wellbeing through spirituality of yogic philosophy.

Chair Classes

Chair classes are practiced to give support and strength to the people who are willing to practice yoga on chair. Chair Yoga is very effective for the elderly people.

Yogasalai offers classes in English and Tamil. The Seniors and new immigrants have significantly benefitted from the classes offered in Tamil as they face language barrier in accessing yoga classes offered in community centres and other outlets.Our classes are structured based on expert guidance and we follow internationally accepted system for more than 60 years.
